Are there no known Roosevelt doubled dies past 1989? I can't find anything, anywhere. And how is that possible? Anyway, any thoughts on this '90P? At first, I dismissed it as MDD and threw it in the come back to it later pile". But, now I'm not s sure.

That may be a die gouge more than a double see if you can get a clean close up of just the front of the eye and lid from 3 different angle (left side looking in) ....Bottom looking up..... and an over head ...And post them
It looks neat!!

Wow, that's a tough shot to get. Bear with me. Having light problems and other issues. But, I'll be back.
I'm still leaning toward MDD on the eyeball, but could be a gouge. But, there seems to be doubling on the eyelid and the crease behind it.

Here's the best I can get so far. Doesn't how the doublng/MDD on the eyeball very well, but does show the doubling of the eyelid that (I think) I'm seeing. I'll still keep trying to get some better shots.

Pretty sure the lower eyelid and eyeball are MDD, it's the upper eyelid and crease behind the upper eyelid that look doubled to me.

I will keep trying. I'm not the best photgrapher. I only bought te camera after I started collecting, so I'm trying to learn that, too.
Which top shot are you refering to? The original top shot, or the top shot in the next post? I've only been trying to get the low angle shot, not another overhead. Is that the one you want?

This looks pretty good to me. I hope you got a doubled die. Sure does resemble the 1943 P nickel doubled eye does it not?

Yes an over head of the eye, and the whole coin as well as shots of the lettering and date. I know it's hard to get the photo angle of this hobby down. This coin is Interesting. Just see what you can do.

Here's a shot of the MDD area (at least, I think it's MDD). My battery died, so I need about an hour to get more shots.

Since there was no response for quite a time last night, I assumed everybody bailed on me. What do you think about the MDD? Is that right? And should I still try to get the overhead shot?
