eastern brown snake sold out in less than 12 hours of release, now selling at around $200 and growing.

Yep, all you get on the Perth Mint site now is this product is no longer available.

Odd that the Perth Mint would delete it from their database completely; they usually simply mark them as "sold out".

And technically, the "Deadly & Dangerous Series" aren't Australian coins, since they are struck in the name of Tuvalu.

These snakes are not as dangerous as you think, they are shy and it would take you 12 hours to die from an average bit, if not treated appropriatly. Glen.

i have the opportunity to buy a brown snake for 150.00 but thought it was overpriced was I wrong?

The last one that sold on eBay was $140AU you can buy them outright at $169AU
RRP was $89.95AU
$100 - $150 is probably the price.
