1 Cent 1942 Netherlands Error/Id - Coin Community Forum

mdpmedia Pillar of the Community United States 3546 Posts	Posted 10/26/2010 11:14 am All of the books and the web-based info that I have reviewed indicate that a 1942, one cent coin from Netherlands should have a cross-type configuration on the reverse: not a lion etc. Is this coin possibly an error? Norway had a series of coins struck in 1942 to represent Haakon VII's government in exile. I'm not sure if this is an error or struck outside the Netherlands--perhaps somebody here knows?
