I found this 1941-D D/D last year and, honestly, this is what helped me want to get the Cherrypickers' books. But this variety is not in there!
Here is a pic of the D/D:

Any info given is appreciated - Do I report it? How? To whom? Value? Et cetera...

Only a small percent of varieties are listed in the cherrypicker's guide. The one you have I beleive is listed ar RPM-001 at varietyvista.com

Go to the CONECA website and show it off the same way. They'll come to you.

I do not know what I am missing here. I went to he variety website and found this:

What is "WRPM" vs RPM (Repunched Mint Markl - I do, at least, know this much )?

And,,,
1. Is RPM-001 saying there is more than one type such as RPM-002 etc?

2, Does this box mean there are only two known in MS65, or that that only two have ever been found and both were MS65- none ever fund in lower grades.

3. Where is the reverse listed as DDR-003 (Double Date Reverse)?

4. what are these 3 stages - A, B, and C?

5. What is EDS, MDS, and LDS?

Thanks for any help - I have looked quite awhile and cannot find this info.

The W in WRPM-001 refers to an identification system used by John Wexler.

It does not necessarily mean there are more than one, it just signifies the first RPM identified for that date and mint.

MS65 would be top pop with a total of two coins reported. That does not mean that only two exist, just that only two have been reported to CONECA.

The reverse of 1941-D RPM-001 is a doubled die listed as DDR-003. It is a two variety coin with both an RPM and DDR.

I am not very familiar with the way Coneca does their listings but I would think the way they have this is that the RPM-001 shares the Reverse with the coin listed as DDR-003 . As I said I am not familiar with the way they do things over there so this information could be totally wrong, but that is how I would read it if I went there and saw that information.
