I Am Looking for expert help on a coin I have , it is in deed a 1663 Charles 11 crown coin , in very good condition . also has a beautiful golden tinge , after doing some research , I have only come across a dealer in england that has this rare 1663 crown coin with the golden tinge . if any one can give me any idea , what is the difference , from the regular silver 1663 crown , and this rare one I have . I can not find any info about the golden tinge . im at a stand point . any help thankyou .
Note : I noticed that 2 crown coins came out the same year 1663 , one coin had an extra curl ( hair ) next to the letter C on the coin , mine ( Does not ) have thee extra curl . if you do some research . This coin is in very good condition & has the 4 flags / crests ? England Ireland Scotland & fra ( France ) . This coin was recently given to me by my Mother , 7 has been kept in the family for a while . Im puzzled by this beautiful golden tinge . Any Coin appraisers in the Houston texas area , Edited by endeavour1 07/03/2011 12:54 pm

Thank you Bill , I don't have scale , But I would certainly take it to a local pawn shop , for the weight . I noticed a guy ( collector in england ) selling for 3200 pounds , And im staring at the same coin .
I noticed the shilling and crown 1663 has the same design front face & back with flag/banners ? england / scots / ireland / french ( 3 leaves ) I hope it is the ONE lol . Thank you
