This is a Devonshire, Exeter (Farthing) from 1663. I don't know much about these, but it is a British farthing token. Here is a website that talks about them http://www.britishfarthings.com/Tok...onshire.html. Scroll down to the bottom and look through the Exeter pages. Hopefully you can find yours. I looked, but I can't read all the text on your token. Hopefully this lead will help you find it.

Here's the response. Many thanks to Tony who runs that site :)

Your token is a farthing token from Exeter in Devonshire. The piece is of Phillip Ierman who was a grocer there. It is interesting in that the date is 1663. See #122 here: http://www.britishfarthings.com/Tok...onshire.html This piece is listed as 1668. It is possible that Williamson was in error or had a very hard to read piece and misread the 3 for an 8. Dickinson, however, has the piece as 1663 and one in 1666 in his work of 1986 so it is very possible that the piece was struck in three different years, 1663, 1666, and 1668. I would catalog your piece as #122, with the other two years being #122A and #122B respectively.
