This ebay listing is interesting--said to be: "The only one graded POOR 1 at NGC or PO01 at PCGS. The next lowest is a 3." Only $5,000.

its a small market but low ball slabs draw big money. bottom pop for the type will sell for big premiums.

here is a 2020-D cent that I sold for $100. its in a PCGS xf40 brown holder. bottom pop for the shield type by several grade points. its a coinfacts plate coin.

i agree. its insanity. at its core its not really any different than chasing the highest grade. we are all crazy.

when I got that 2020 cent back from the graders I listed it on ebay for a buy it now price of $5000 or best offer. I kicked their promoted ad rate up to the max so it would spam everyone. in the description I said something to the effect of "this is a stupid coin so I put a stupid price on it. make me an offer." I got a lot of offers in the 50 and 75 range. I ended up selling it locally to a dealer. it was only for sale for a day or two before it sold. people think stuff like that is funny.
