While I dont collect ASEs by date I very much like colorful ones. So here's a few of mine, and let's see some of yours.

This first one I've nicknamed the Aurora Borealis because of the shimmering Aurora like color on the reverse.

This second one was named the blueberry eagle by my sister, which given the color, is an apt description.

This is a personal favorite of mine for obvious reasons. Meet ice and fire. I love how the surfaces almost look painted.

The next one is called deep blue, see if you can tell why.

This one I don't have a nickname for but it's awesome.

I have one with some color. I'll see if I can get acceptable pics of it.

My favorite toned ASE from my best 2010 yard sale pickup for $ 10 -

intense border toning w/ graduated transitions to the inner fields.

I did not comment back to the seller when he expressed disgust & disapproval from owning such an ugly and defective US coin.

Here's some interesting toning on an error ASE. This coin only had a few small dark spots when it was slabbed. The color has really intensified in the last few years. It makes me wonder what the strike through was made of and if it's responsible for the toning, but I have another coin from the same roll with a matching error and almost no toning.

I'll throw them up tomorrow morning....

Due to them likely gaining the opinion they're AT I'll provide some early context. These came from a collection I bought from an individual in my community. They came from his father, who among other coins, collected silver eagles from 1986-2000 when he passed. All of the coins were kept in envelopes in his gun safe. Due to the combination of the envelopes and high "atmospheric" sulfur content these coins toned pretty wild. Interestingly, he was missing a handful of dates and had duplicates of some, not sure why. Even then a few of his coins were blast white, I think they may have had something covering them perhaps but I'll never know. Beyond that he had a collection of Lincoln cents, Jefferson nickels and a crap load of bulk wheat cents. There were some oddball coins here and there. A large cent here, Seated quarter there, things of that nature. Interestingly the only early copper was a draped bust large cent dated 1799, the key date. It appears to have had acid placed on the date, similar to nic-a-date. As such I personally can't authenticate it. I might throw it up here later.
