I found this by the railroad tracks when I was a kid. Does anyone know any details? I've searched high and low for a few years but have been unable to find any info on this specific coin. There are many other coins from that fair but nothing exactly like this.

Meant to add: The website has many, many more than the small softcover book I have on so-called dollars, but I'm sure there are more variants of these than are listed at the web site. It should hopefully take just a bit more research to pin down which one this is.
However, you might want to measure it to make sure of the size. So-called Dollars are large, and there is a minimum size of 33mm to be considered as one. So while the design on yours might be very similar, it may not be included in their list if it is of a smaller diameter.

From the same exposition, a white metal souvenir medal. Scarce I'm told, but sadly in terrible condition.

I forgot I had posted this and just ran across it years later. Is there any way to tell how much this may be worth, if anything?

Welcome back. Prices for medals like this aren't as easy to determine as prices for actual coins. Price guides are either non-existent, or are updated so infrequently they aren't of much practical use. As a general rule, such items are "rare", in terms of actual numbers that exist, but are usually not "valuable", because practically nobody is collecting them. The "so-called dollars" mentioned back in 2014 are popular and well-catalogued, but as noted above, this piece is too small to qualify (xshift's original ID above is not correct; the design is slightly different, and it's too small). As a result, your guess as to value is as good as anyone else's - just don't be too optimistic. Most dealers would be selling items like this for, what, around $10 to $20?
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

Guess I won't plan on retiring on it any time soon! I just measured it and it's 31mm and therefore smaller as you said.
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. Sorry to bring back the old post but it seemed more appropriate here.
