Got these from a bank today. First time getting Casino machine wrapped Ikes. Something a little different.
Very nice!

I almost want to keep those rolls intact. Almost.

What year are they? if they are 1972 Philly I would have to check for the reverses.

That could certainly incentivize opening them!

I stopped at a Girl Scout cookie table a couple days ago. $5 for a box. I had 4 dollar bills in my wallet and added my current pocket piece Ike to the mix. The little girl asked her mom what it was and her mom said "in the old days, people would spend these." I said, "I spent them in the old days!"

When I left, the little scout was grinning and turning the coin in her hand. Hopefully, a fire lighted.

I stumbled across a few hundred Ike's yesterday. Found these in with them. I think the 1971 is silver.

It looks like it is a 1971-S to me. If it is, it is silver!

I bought $14 in Ikes from my bank and two of them turned out to be 1973-S clad proofs.
