There is. Especially since they're going to stop producing them soon.

For over a year, Copper has been pulled from circulation in my area and it's not just some person sorting by hand. Since spring of 2024, bank boxes of circulated cents contained 0% Copper so I quit searching cents for a while. I still see the boxes with 0% Copper but not as often as last year so it's game on again. My latest box of machine wrapped rolls yielded above average results. It contained 64% Copper including 38 1960d (small d variety) and many earlier BU LMC. I found quite a few nice BU 2009s as well. It had 19 LWC including the highlight pictured below:

Great find, sich0015! To help make up for the lack of copper coins, search for varieties and errors on the newer coins, if you collect that kind of stuff.

Will banks still carry pennies even when they aren't being minted anymore?

I think the Zincolns are going to be in circulation a lot longer than we think, especially if there is no formal rounding law in place. I see no discussion of a US Mint alloy recovery program either.
Banks will want them for exact change and some businesses will until rounding rules are codified.
