I had to rename the photo completely and it helped. Uzbekistan 25 so'm, 1999 800th Anniversary - Birth of Jaloliddin Manguberdi. The last Khorezmshah. The state of Khorezmshahs is the name of the medieval state of Khorezm. The state included the entire territory of Turkmenistan, as well as the entire territory of modern Uzbekistan, parts of the territories of modern Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Azerbaijan and Syria. Uzbekistan 50 so'm, 2001 10th Anniversary - Independence of Uzbekistan. There are 2 varieties of this coin. 6 grams and 8 grams. I have 6 grams. Uzbekistan 100 so'm, 2004 10th Annniversary - State Currency. Uzbekistan 100 so'm, 2009 2200th Anniversary of Tashkent, Independence and Goodness Monument. These are not all coins. There are 7 commemorative coins in total, but I only have 4.

Uzbekistan 2000 Som, 2021 Uzbekistan 5000 Som, 2021 Uzbekistan 50,000 Som, 2021 There are also banknotes in denominations of 10,000; 20,000; 100,000 and 200,000 Som.

Quote: 1 Dollar 1977-D. How did you guys carry it with you ? Amazingly, they did circulate, even if for a short time. I pulled probably a dozen of them out of circulation when I worked at an ice cream parlor in the mid-1970s They did circulate well into early 1980's. I got them in change and used them to purchase candy bars. Along with SBA dollar coins. I remember many people often unloaded them quickly as possible as no one liked to carry big coins and dollar coins that looks like quarters. For me, it is bonus collecting them. Good ol' days! I think we still find them at the banks if one cares to ask for them. Quote: Quote: How did you guys carry it with you ? It's very heavy. I think if you put these 5 pieces, you can tear your pants Not many people did. They were replaced with the smaller Susan B. Anthony dollars in 1979. Jbuck is correct and not many people would carry that many Ike dollar coins in their wallets or pockets. This is why the Government tried to replace them with smaller dollar coins but failed miserably. I remember writing to the US Mint asking them to change quarter's colour or size so they can circulate SBA dollar coins more. Guess they do not appreciate my suggestion. They did a better job with Sacwenga dollar and Presidential dollar coins but still could circulate them well. I blame our dollar bills.
