Here's a commemorative Silver Dollar issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2010 - it helped to mark the 100th Anniversary of Canada's Navy.
Outstanding!

Around the outer rim on the reverse side of the coin is a morse code message which states the motto of: "Ready Aye Ready" and the French translation at the bottom "Prêt Oui Prêt"

Here's a United States Mint issue from the Classic-Era US Commemorative Coin series - the 1936 San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Opening Half Dollar. The coin features a pair of "prop" ships in San Francisco ("SF") Bay.

A ferry ship is seen closest to the SF Ferry Building (in the foreground), and an ocean-going passenger liner is depicted further out in SF Bay (on a direct heading for the second tower! ). Both ships appear to be under full steam.

The ocean liner is likely one of the Matson Lines' four passenger ships that made up its "White Fleet" of ocean-going passenger liners of the time; they each made calls at the San Francisco port.

In 2012, the Royal Canadian Mint issued several coins to mark the 100th Anniversary of the RMS Titanic disaster. Presented here is the Philatelic-Numismatic Cover ("PNC") that features the colorized 50 Cents coin. The RMS Titanic is definitely a "prop" ship that history still remembers!

Here's one more "prop ship" coin from Canada - the 2015 Celebrating Canada $10 Silver Proof Coin.

The coin's reverse design uses a maple leaf shape to represent a stylized map of Canada. Upon the maple leaf/map. from west to east, are found well-known symbols of each geographic region. Within this design approach is found a small commercial fishing boat at roughly the 3 o'clock position. It is meant to help represent Canada's Eastern Provinces' fishing industry.

Moving across the Atlantic Ocean from Canada to France...

Here's a Silver 1 Franc coin that was issued to mark the 50th Anniversary of D-Day. It was issued ahead of the 50th Anniversary of the Normandy Invasion (1993 vs. 1994), but does include the correct invasion date as part of its design. Multiple propeller-driven war ships are seen in the background on the reverse.

I also have an Uncirculated version of the coin, embedded in a commemorative folder. Read more here:
