United States Mint 2025-S American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin Available September 23
2025, September 23

US Mint - The United States Mint (Mint) will begin accepting orders for the 2025 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin (S) (product code 25EM) beginning on Tuesday, September 23 at noon EDT. Orders are limited to 10 coins per household for the first 24 hours of sale, subject to availability.

The 2025 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin (S) is struck at the San Francisco Mint, rendered in 99.9% fine silver with a reeded edge, and priced at $95 each. There are currently no further releases for this product beyond 2025 as the Mint creates new numismatic products to enhance your collection.

The limited edition silver proof set was added to the mintage total. The LESPS had the odd "8" at the end. I have suspicions on why the extra 8. But pretty sure there's why the total still has the 008

Got an email today from NGC stating that this is the lowest S mint proof ASE.....is this true?

Received the same advertising email from NGC's 'partner,' Coin Advisor. . .text in the body of the email claims it is "the lowest mintage of any "S" proof ASE in the program's 40 year history." A quick glance at the Red Book shows "S" proof mintage in 2017 was 123,799 ; in 2019 - 146,799. I wasn't a math major but I'm pretty sure both of those numbers are lower than 158,000.
