I just got this 1795 LC but have concerns, it has the reflective metallic look of a fake Virginia colonial I purchased a couple weeks. It weighs 8.92 grams instead of 10.89-ish, but it's exactly 29mm in diameter which is not the diameter of the known replicas. I have included photos including the weight and measure. It looks like it could be a legit S-78, just corrosion loss causing the 2g lightness in weight.

It looks a bit like a metal detecting find to me. I've seen many a coin come out of farm fields looking like that because of the fertilizers they use. I don't see anything too majorly off with the coin. However, I am no expert and cannot say one way or another for certain.
