This is the last of the dates when the only silver coins minted in the U.S. were half dollars in an era when silver was scarce in North America. This one is a scarcer variety in what I thought was beautiful condition. Thoughts? Thanks!

Love this example! Don't see wear on these pictures, would guess 62. The picture is not clear though.

Thought this one was better than the holdered grade. Paid $1,441. In hand examination shows uninterrupted luster throughout the coin. This is a case where the seller's pictures demonstrate luster better than mine while slightly out of focus. Further thoughts? Thanks!

Obvious signs of wear in your photos. Guess it is an AU coin. The pit falls of buying from photos. At least you knew what you were getting as it's slabbed. Very nice coin NS!

new photos are showing an AU coin. 55 is correct. original photos are hiding the small amounts of wear on the higher devices
