1966 Kennedy Half Dollar Doubled Profile?

ANAcoincollector Valued Member United States 83 Posts	Posted 09/27/2025 4:30 pm I recently got some silver half dollars as a gift and was looking through them for varieties. This half dollar caught my eye. It looks like there is some doubling on Kennedy's face and the designer's initials. However, I wasn't able to see any doubling on the date or motto (but I've also never seen pictures of the doubling on the text, so I don't really know what it looks like). Let me know your thoughts! The two prominent ones are explained in the Wexler article below as WWHO-001 and -002. Many working dies might have been manufactured with those hubs. https://doubleddie.com/1141429.html Note that Variety Vista and CONECA seem to still list those coins as individual DDO varieties.
