I was in NYC last month and went to a street fair on the upper west side. To my surprise I see a Plastic Capital Holder with 12 Liberty halves resting on a table. Well, no surprises here, I ended up buying them. Here is the first three, 1941P,D & S. What do you think their will grade? Thanks for your reply, Bill

Thanks wheezydog. I was hoping for a AU on the 41S.

The first two look to be in the XF range. The 41-S looks to be AU, but may have been cleaned at one time. Might just be the pic.

vermontensium, the photos were taken with natural light from a window. I don't know if that was good or bad, but the coins look better in hand.

They look VF to EF with the exception of the 41S, can't tell if it's been cleaned but it looks real nice where you can see the thumb and forefinger and real nice skirtlines up to the hip. Also can't tell if that's luster or picture quality but its a nice one, could be AU.
The 42D is real nice. These are usually soft strikes around the hand, but there is a thumb forefinger split visible, the skirtlines are good and the head is well defined.
Same for the 42S, usually a real soft strike but this one has some nice definition also. Hard to tell if its frosty by the pictures.
That 42D, if it's got luster it could be MS it is a real nice looking coin, I like that one alot. Want to sell it?
