third Reverse usually means it has the Reverse of 1879. I can't see your pictures well enough to be 100% sure but it should be a 79 reverse. So that would put it a VAM-200 and up. From the small pictures it looks like a real nice coin and may grade better than MS-62 but I don't think anyone will be able to tell you anything by those small pictures

Don't bother to crack it out, just send it in "as is". If you have a minimum grade you will accept on the cross-over/regrade, state this on the submission form. The top tier graders (PCGS, NGC, ANACS and IGC) mask the grade on the holder before it goes to their graders. This is done so that the graders only judge the coin on its own merits.

If your coin does not make your minimum grade, it is returned to you in the original holder and you pay the grading costs.

P.S. - any chance you could get larger pictures of the coin? We could attribute it here for no charge.
So many coins, so little time ...

I would leave it in the holder for now and try to get some
decent pics of it. It can be Graded and Vammed on here.
Then you can decide if worth a re slab. Older Anacs grades were pretty
dead on. They are still very consistent today. The Morgan was my first
test on grading skills when I was a kid and a MS63 was a very nice grade
back then. That starts the BU range. All Morgans are Vams anyway so maybe stick to the Hot 50 or Top 100 VAM's for value.

This. You'd get 63 money for that coin, anyway, in that holder.
The best thing about a bicycle is that it uses no gasoline, therefore the chance of fiery death is greatly reduced.

First Catman, then Gary Burke and now Bigg Fredd - there's one heck of a coin club in Heaven.

If it were mine I would keep it right where it is. I think the older generation TPG holders will become as collected as the coins themselves. Everyone feels the need to crack them open and re-submit for a bigger number. Bottom line is the coin does not change, only the holder and label does.
