1974 penny off center

908205691838 New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 07/10/2012 11:09 pm i dont really know much about coins, and I noticed this was off center so I was wondering if it's possible worth anything? maybe the error is also to small to make it worth anything? thanks! any help would be greatly appreciated! :) Send note to staff

CaptainFwiffo Pillar Of The Community United States 3903 Posts	Posted 07/10/2012 11:36 pm Most likely, the reverse is centered, making it a misaligned die, not an off-center coin. It has to be much further off to be worth anything in either case. Check out my rag-picking buffalo nickel project, and my wishlist and what I have for trade. Send note to staff

coppercoins Pillar Of The Community United States 7598 Posts	Posted 07/15/2012 07:35 am I don't even think it's a misaligned die. It would have to be off by more than a half percent. It's almost hard to tell which part of the rim is thicker on this coin, really. Send note to staff
