Hey everyone! I need help with a Washington 25c... Do you think this looks like a type C Reverse Quarter? The leaves are stronger than the Type A, and not as far up as the type B... Opinions?

Tanks bunches!

Alex

Here's a close-up of a rev C. Yours doesn't look like one....
Notice the lines splitting the tail feathers.

Uhhh, thank you very much harveypb! I actually was looking at this one, but didn't buy it... I was wondering about the reverse type to help me on my decision.

Find yourself a decent 1965 and use it's reverse as a guide.
After a while you will be able to spot the Type "C" pretty quickly
and accurately. Oh, and also look out for that elusive silver 65
Hi Harvey, long time no hear. I still have that 60 and 61. I may decide
to send them both along to you for a look. Still up in the air as to whether they are proofs or not. No dealers agree that they are proofs.

Hey Indian1

Nice to hear from you.

One of the 1958 Rev B pieces I got yesterday looks very much like a proof. I asked the dealer if it was a proof and he said it wasn't.

I have 2 slabbed pieces, 1 NGC and 1 PCGS that have proof-like obverses and reverses. One is a MS65 and the other a MS66. Your 1960 & 1961 piece might very well look like these.

You can always contact me through ebay. My user ID is also harveypb

Regards,

Harvey
