Does anyone here know if this is worth value? I have a bunch of coins that my Grandmother had dating back to the 1600's and they are sweedish coins etc...This is one that stuck out to us. Thank you!

its called a love token.
you would scratch your sweethearts name on the coin and gift it
they actually ruined the value in today's numismatic standards

its not worth more than someone is willing to pay for it today

however, you have a nice piece of history which you can continue down the line as a family heirloom and that my friend is priceless

Do the initials match anyone in your family tree. If so, that is definitely something you will want to pass down to the next generation.

Looks like one I would keep. It must have meant something for your Grand mother to hold on to it.

Looks like it was a dime, now a Love Token. Should be worth a few bucks to collectors of those.

I'm still looking for a love token engraved with my wife's initials - N. A. G.
