My mom works as a flourist, so when she told me she bought me something when I came home I was like.......ok? Like what, a flower or something?
But she really just cashed out a 1953 dime she found in the cash register. Awesome.

Discovered in my pocket. May have come from Walmart. Italy, Quarter size. 50 Lira 1964 AU. Not sure who or what is depicted on the obverse. Reverse has a scantily clad gentleman banging away, forging something made of medal.  |

1913-V that is one beautiful proof nickel, this tells me I need to start looking at nickels as well as pennies.

I just found another proof nickel. 2000s. I still got one box to look through yet. Heres everything I found so far. 5 buffalos 2 dateless with a D on one and a S on the other, 1917, 1927, and 1937. 12 WWIIs, 1942d, 2 1948s, 1951s, 1975s, and 2000s. I also found a few pre 1970s in excellent condition.

Looking through a box of cents (taking a break from the nickels!) and I found a 1929 Canada Cent...In Kentucky! I see plenty of Canada cents but never one that old! I'd say condition-wise probably Fine. Not bad!!

Hi All Yesterday I found a 1957 Silver Certificate and a 1935D Silver Certificate. Both are very wrinkled but have only minor tearing and staining. This past week I had to go out of state to a meeting and as I was driving home I stopped at several banks in smaller towns. At 1 bank I found 42 Eisenhower dollars and at another I got a 68 Kennedy |

Looked through a couple rolls in the last box and found a 1938D.  Cant wait to look through the rest of the box. |

Eisenhower's, how did you not jump up and down and not cause security to knock you down. They are a very overlooked coin but if I could find them I would scoop them up as well. Hopefully you asked questions to see if they had any other older coins as well.

I found a steel cent in my drawer at work yesterday. Pretty rusty but still nice. It was a 1943 P

Security didn't know I was there as I was in the drivethru. Yes, I did ask questions. These came from a local grocery store in the community and they didn't have any others. The teller was very happy to be rid of them so she wouldn't have to continue to count them. I was very pleased to solve that problem for her.

Last Ike I acquired was at a bank drive-through, when the teller asked if I wanted it. I had just asked for any Presidential dollars they had, and then she volunteered the Ike. |
