1976 Canadian Cent.
No big deal, however it's very rare that we see Canada coins in circulation.

Here in old FLA we get lots of canadian cents and even the occasional nickel because of all the snowbirds who come down from Canada and surrounding areas. -PP

Quote:I had just asked for any Presidential dollars they had, and then she volunteered the Ike. The Eisenhower dollar is a Presidential Dollar, if you want to be technical! Quote: 1968 S mint Lincoln Cent in change from Taco Tico ! Two days in a row now, I have gotten a 1969D LHC in change from Chick-fil-A! I was tempted to ask for all cents to see how many they had.

Got a 1977S proof a few days ago. I thought it looked in good condition for a 1977 coin and I looked at the mintmark. The reverse still has some mirror to it. It looks like it had been in circulation for a while now.

Check this out, it all happened at once to me. I worked a twelve hour shift the other day so had a lot of money and change to go through. I've been looking for star notes for months now. Like since february, and have sifted through tens of thousands of dollars with nothing. I was incredulous. Well, I finally found not one, but two one dollar bill star notes. They're nothing special as far as condition but its what I was looking for! I even checked to make sure they weren't sequential since it seemed odd that I all of a sudden found two of them. Plus, going through my change I found a 1956-D Wheat penny and a panama quarter. Good day.

Nothing too special here, but I took my son's piggy bank to get cashed today but before I did that, I searched his pennies. In the $5 worth of pennies I found 2 1970S large date (low7s) a 1973S and a 1974S.

i buy $100+ in pennies per week from the bank and go through them at work while I'm waiting for things to run... Last week I got LUCKY and got $25 in customer-rolled pennies that had been rolled between '68 and '77 (judging by the newestt coins in each roll, which were in in AU-BU condition). Most unusual find from there was a well-worn 1910P that had apparently been imprinted quite hard by the reverse of an Indian penny... the older style "ONE CENT" was quite legible (in reverse) across Abe's face. Sitting Bull's revenge!
