I've never had any luck but my Uncle Ron got a 1916-D Mercury dime out of circulation! It's not even in that bad condition, about EF-40. He plans to retire on his coin collection. |

Went through a box of nicks and found 1 1943P and a 1919 buff. I found a few other keepers but nothing to talk about.

I knew my "different" description wasn't the best in the world LOL. What I have, after a bit of research, is a 2003 proof Canadian cent with the uncrowned portrait (earrings and necklace). This was the first one I had seen so was unsure what I had. I was able to id the coin by checking out J & M Coin and Jewelry, LTD site.

If it's a 'P' mintmark and the uncrowned portrait, then I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it wasn't issued in proof in that combination, so you probably have a BU cent instead.

I've had a couple finds lately. A 1943-P nickel found in circulation. Wasn't even roll searching, just found it in my tip change. My first found in circulation silver nickel. A 1955 Wheat cent thats going to go in my platic bag labeled "crap wheats" becuase its pretty damaged. A 1938 nickel, also found in circulation. A 1995 canadian cent. A 1960-D small date cent. and finally.... A one dollar star note with a bookend serial number |

Found my first Arizona Statehood Quarter today while working as a volunteer at our hospital's gift shop. Nice design I think. In my opinion, it will be one of the more popular Statehood Quarters. |

Not really a find from circulation, maybe it is, but a guy came in to pay with something he claimed, "...you have never seen before," which turned out to be an Ike dollar. He had 12 more, and he says his grandmother works at a bank and has a box of them, so I told him to hook me up and he said he'll bring some on Saturday. I better get a full date set out of this! |

This is an interesting one. My wife saw it on the ground, picked it up, and gave it to me. It will probably always be a mystery as to where it came from. The Netherlands. 1 Cent. 1919. AU.  |
