I found a 2007 Canadian penny on the floor at Houston Airport. I need it for my collection of Canadian cents from U.S. change!

Today was my 4 1/2 hour stint at the hospital gift shop. In between sales, I looked through quarters.

My findings:
6 BU Puerto Rico
6 BU American Samoa
4 Washinton DC, BU
15 Westward Movement Nickels. all BU.

This one wasn't exactly found in circulation but the local paper reported that a construction worker found an 1865 nickel when they were tearing up the sidewalks downtown. Dunno if thy got the date wrong or if it was a Three Cent piece or what but figured whatever it was it would have been a pretty cool find.
Rest in Peace

Good day at work yesterday - two pre-1954 nickels (commons, but one was a folder upgrade), two pre-1950 Wheats (again, commons, but one was an upgrade), a Log Cabin and 2 Log splitters, plus a Singapore dime.

I got a 2009 Penny in my change today!

Before you say "Oh, you mean Cent!",
this really is a "2009 Penny"!
(as in 'from the United Kingdom'! )

I did also get that BU LP2 Cent in my change today, as well...

Someone sure was determined to punch a hole in this one. My girlfriend is going to make sure it becomes a pendant once again.

I got Three Cents in change at lunch today.

I just about fell over, when I saw that they were a BU 'D' LP2,
a BU 'D' LP3, and a 1957-D Wheat cent!

I got my first Territorial Quarter in change this weekend!

It is a 2009-P US Virgin Islands Quarter and I had to drive three hours away to get it.

The grocery store self-checkout machine was nice enough to give me a
Virgin Islands-D Quarter today (and a well-worn VG 1981-D Quarter along with it),
but poor jbuck has been waiting all year to get a 2009 Quarter from circulation!

Congratulations, jbuck!
