1913 wheat yesterday at work. Looks like great condition, too--most of the individual features are still there, and clear.

If you use quick reply, type [ quote][ /quote] without the spaces after the brackets. In either case, put the quoted stuff [ quote] HERE[ /quote]. Then the quote will look like this: Quote: HERE

Quote: I guess you haven't priced rolls of 1958-s cents lately. Biggfred it is really surprising how well I type when I'm not up 'till the wee small hours of the morning. Anyway getting back on topic here - I really haven't priced those rolls lately because I got them in trade with some other stuff awhile ago and they were thrown in to sweeten a deal. So tell me what a bu roll of those are worth and should I have my seat belt on when you tell me. Also, this afternoon I was out an about and on my way to take my dog to the vet for her checkup I had stopped at my bank to get some money and while I was there I purchased a box of pennies and happened to ask if they had any halves. The head teller said yes 3 rolls and yelled at the other teller to see if I wanted anything else while she was there. I didn't have the nerve to ask about Sac's, Ikes, or Susan B's so I told the teller to tell her I'd take all she had and that I needed nothing else. As the teller was bringing the rolls to me she dropped one roll and had to stop and fix them. As she was handing them to me she announced to the lobby that I'd really like one of the rolls with the good stuff in there. Some women just don't have a stage whisper and she's one of them. When I got home two of the rolls were all bi-centennial halves, but the other roll had 6 40%ers. So I'm a happy camper. This means that this week I found over a roll of 40% stuff. T his was a good week. Tonight I go through the box of pennies that I found. Tomorrow I have to take the wife shopping as she wants some new clothes. {edit} I think that I did well on using the quote thingey. Thanks............

Congratulations Nina those old wheaties are a good time anytime you find them. Where did you find it? Were you roll mining or given in change. - no matter they're good however you get them. Hopefully you find some silve coins someday soon. Regards

Regards Hi and thanks, ghostrider! I got this particular one out of a bank roll--my work uses an automatic coin changer that holds roughly $140 (all denominations up to a quarter) when fully loaded, and my coworkers mostly leave filling it to Leilani (our other collector) and me so we have a chance to go through and find anything we want to buy (okay, one leaves it to us because he's a lazy *insert some not very nice Yiddish language here*, but the result is the same). I have gotten silver dimes and quarters, buffalo nickels, and silver certificates handed to me before, though--you'd be surprised what some people don't know they have in their change!

If you meant 68s, couple three bucks, unless they changed when I wasn't looking. Only place I know with roll prices is CDN greysheep.

Quote: What type of shape was the '41-S in? About F-15. The 1919(P) Wheat Cent I got today is VG-8 and has a few scratches on Lincoln's head.

Just recently I found a Canadian 1985 pointed 5, this is a hard find and has taken a few years.

Someone handed this to me in change last week. It's not a key date or anything, but the condition is good, and I'll take silver at face any day!

Im a manager at a mini golf place and we have batting cages that use quarters. Well today, while getting the quarters I saw a silver rim. Sure enough I got a 1944 silver quarter.

Great roll hunting day today.
Got a '26 penny (oldest coin I've found in circulation.) and a '45-S penny out of the same roll. (Shame they're covered in verdigris. Still nice to find though.)
Also found a '41-D wheatie inside one of those take-a-penny/leave-a-penny trays at the gas station.
Oldest finds from circulation: Pennies: 1910 Wheat Penny Nickels: 1909 V Nickel Dimes: 1946 Roosevelt Quarters: 1965 Washington Half-Dollars: 1934 Walking Liberty Dollars: 1971-D Ike

Jbuck: That coin was just released by the mint within the past month. Unbelivable find. I'm not expecting to find that in circulation in my area for at least 6 months to a year. I'm just seeing ATB's in circulation now from 2010 and 2011. I'm setting aside what I find for a circulating album that I won't be starting to fill for at least another year or so. I haven't found a circulating Yosemite, Gettysburg, Chickashaw or any of the 2012's yet. In fact I just counted my circulating ATB's and I counted only 15. So I notably impressed by your find.
