what do you think is the grade of these two coins?

I guess it's challenging to grade from angled pics.
The 1907 H is a good coin, so I'll chance a grade on that one.
By the crown band detail, I would guess EF40.

I would agree, on the 1907H as being EF40.

The 1911, looks AU to me.

Straight on pictures would probably be better.

Do you think I could get a mint state on the 1911? or is the obverse to dark?
Btw is it okay I just post new pics for 1907H. the 1911 is good enough no?

the 1911 is IMO a mintstate coin...at least MS60 as that is the lowest mint state......better pictures would help though when you get into mintstate coins you almost have to have the coin in hand as the difference in grades can be as small as the difference between 1 or two bag marks

1907h 35-60 trends Canadian

1911 5-6 dollars trends

but hard to get the trend price without a discount, just an opinion

the 1911 is IMO a mintstate coin...at least MS60 quote


I'm not sure on that a ms60 should not have surface lustre missing from high points, but who can really grade a picture.

both may be high grade EF but no where close to UNC, guess only

1907 EF

1911 AU-55 ill grade it AU because we can see fingerprint toned .
