This coin has the same thing on the obverse and the reverse. It just reads, "Janosikov Dukat" and "17" to the left and "13" to the right, which I guess is supposed to be "1713". It also says, "Pre Stastie". I bought these at an estate auction.

Do you know what this is, what it's made of, or the value? Thanks.

It's not an actual coin, but a fantasy piece. This old thread featured another one just like this. Juraj Janosik, the figure depicted on it, was the Slovakian equivalent of Robin Hood. 1713 was the year Janosik was executed.

The "ducat" or "dukat" was a gold trade coin in Europe; the Dutch still make them. However, this is not a genuine ducat, and is almost certainly not made of gold - not with the brownish discoloration this one is starting to show.

These "coins" were minted in 1963 for a film "Janosik",
today's value is about $2
