Thanks for that. I'll be going to the Sydney Show (Randwick)

Interesting things about some locations. I was born in Randwick, I lived in Sale (in the greater Manchester area). I have visited Sale (Victoria) on a number of occasions.

Where does it say mobile press? I'm not seeing it in the SCDAA link.

Maybe you mean the ANDA shows? The mobile press has already been to Perth and Brisbane ANDA's this year.

They are taking the portable press to an ANDRA show? Doesn't seem like their target market really.

Always wondered what is the cost to mint your own coin at the show.
Do you put $2 or $3 into the machine?
Also do they have a limit per person? Because I want to go crazy and get a few done.

$10 per coin and you have to pre-pay at a register before you get to the machine. Generally there's a limit to how many you can mint each time you line up if there's a long line up (2 coins usually), if the line isn't busy they'll quite often let you mint more. Usually you'll have the chance to either mint your own or buy pre-minted coins too. Be warned that if they've sold their quota for the day that they can stop selling them so don't leave it too late.

Used to be a few dollars and last year went up to $10 which is overpriced IMO.

Here's some pics from last year in Canberra.

Wow I didn't know that the coins were $10 each now! That is way over priced. It used to be great that you could go to a place like the Melbourne show (for me anyway) and get a coin on the mobile press. Part of what got me into coin collecting was when I got my first collectable coin at the 1996 Melbourne show for $2-3 (@ 17yo). I might not have even been interested if I had to part with $10. I don't understand how there is such a big price difference between the mobile press and the one at the Mint.
