Hi, I've recently joined your forum and coincidentally also (today) been the highest bidder on a polimer note that may have been faked. Can anyone with experience in these things please check this out and tell me if it is dodgy or any chance that it is a real error note? I feel sick thinking that this could be something that a person with a bottle of acetone could have knocked up. regards Gweidion

That does not look like an acetoned note.

I believe it is a genuine error note & a very good one ,far too tidy to be acetoned IMO,it looks like a complete layer of print is missing to me but I'm no error note expert. Hopefully our resident note expert will give his view on this but I really think you can be rest assured that it is indeed genuine. Check this site out,if you scroll down there is one $10 almost identical to your note. http://polymernotes.fws1.com/aust.html

Thank you, that makes me feel a lot better. As it is my wife is going to KILL me. I'll be looking forward to hearing from your error note expert as well.

Stunning note!! In the Rennik's guide they have it as No main (intaglio) printing. Caused by 2 or more sheets not separating during printing phase.
Haven't seen Goatieman around for a while, he'll probably have more information if he sees this!! :)

Wow you did pay a lot for it but it does look genuine.I've been watching this seller for a while and he's sold quite a few genuine error notes in the last few months,He inspired me to buy an error note a few weeks ago so I think you can rest easy but I don't know if your wife can

I'm still alive. I think the wife is going to take it out on me in pieces. She'll have something to hang over me for a few years now.
