I started this set about a year ago, many of you saw pics of my progress then. I decided to put some updated pics up. I started this set with the intention of just doing the '41-'47 short set. I went to a coin show and found some pre '41 pieces that I couldn't pass on the price, so I moved my short set from '33-s to '47-d. I have now decided to try and complete the whole series in at least the VF+ range. I have noticed a substantial increase in prices since beginning the set last year. Anyways here are the pics:

Great Walkers! It's going to get painful later on though. I have a complete set, but only to the VG or so level on the older dates. You have a great start!

Nice set. I, too, am going to do the 1933 - 1947 set and will probably work on it in earnest after the first of the year. I have one piece so far the 41-S, one down and thirty-nine to go. Ed ANA LM-3175
They told (us) to open up the Embassy, or "we'll blow you away." And then they looked up and saw the Marines on the roof with these really big guns, and they said in Somali, "Igaralli ahow," which means "Excuse me, I didn't mean it, my mistake". You have a good start to this great coin set. I too am striving to complete a better grade set and I'm down to replacing some of my teens and twenties. They are painfully expensive to get the XF or better detail I wish to have.

Beautiful set. Hope the wallet is deep for those earlier dates in that condition.
It is could've, would've or should've, not could of, would of or should of.

Looks great! I just started collecting a little over a year ago and have been working on Kennedy halves, but after learning more and going to my first coin show a few weeks back I really want to get a WLH set started (I like the idea of collecting a set that has a definitive beginning and end lol) but I'm holding off until I get a little further along with my Kennedys.
Why is there a short set for the WLH? Is there some significance to why there is a break at 1941? I want to create a full set around the VF area so I can enjoy the patina but still get the beauty of the coin's design.
