Just received an upset email from a guy in Ontario complaining that a coin posted in England on the 17th of June hasn't arrived yet. And yes, he's an experienced buyer. So have Canada Post miraculously raised their game above abysmal, or is he just pulling my chain?

Wow, that's a short amount of time to complain. Anything I get from GB does tend to get here quickly, but I wouldn't be worried after four days.

That is an incredibly short time to complain. While I have had coins get to Winnipeg from GB in the same time it usually takes about a week and a half to two weeks for the majority of the coins I order from over the pond.

4 days? Really? Any further statement I could make would be unprintable.

To the recipiant of alganbagerap's goods:

Come on, 4 days? harldy enough to complain about. One UK to US end of one of my trades took 13 days to cross the pond, and then the American continent to my mailbox.

Yes.. he is just pulling your chain, he has to be.. he can't be serious about not receiving a coin in 4 days.

Thanks for all the replies. It did make me think, as Canada is my second largest market and I'm very familiar with Canada Post's services. What are the bets I'm being set up for a non delivery claim?

I hope you will be ok. I hope he's just impatient. I'm curious if the guy just didn't realize where it is actually coming from. I'm in Ontario and I sent a coin to Texas once and the guy opened a claim on me after 5 days. I was thinking the same thing. Really 5 days from here to Texas in 5 days? Standard shipping (which he chose) Some people are just ignorant that way. In the end he got it after 2 weeks and ebay made me refund money and the guy did actually send it back so it worked out. Hope this is the same story.

I've seen similar ?s asked & it really calms down a buyer to be given a link to the responses posted here. Not only does it take the wind out of their sail, but they realize their impatience. I bet all will work out.
