Great discussion and as I wait for a chance to buy the long awaited Dansco 7070 I am thinking seriously about starting a slabbed type 7070 displayed in the 9/page slab pages. This would be in addition to the the 7070 set to provide a home for the raw coins collected from the last 30 years many of which lacked an organized way to display. Hoping the Dansco albums get back in stock soon!, anyone know who has them in stock?

Question: can I assume that very high grade type coins may not belong in the Dansco 7070. Nervous about pushing them into the slot and sliding the plastic cover over them fearing it could leave scratches. Am I over thinking this?

Ok, a new addition today. I got in a 1986-S Ellis Island Commemorative Silver dollar. It will go the the 'Modern Dollar Commem space. It didn't need to be silver I guess, but there it is.

It's a proof coin but not a perfect proof - maybe pr64-65

My real question is that is this a proper coin to add to this space?

Well, it certainly looks good in that spot. So, it stays there. Next coin to go in will be the 1971-S Eisenhower proof silver dollar on the 'silver dollars' page

Like Hfjacinto says, your album your choice, I know I continue to adapt my album and add/remove whole pages to fit what I want to.

But, that aside, yes! you are including the correct coin in that slot. Any coin from the 1983-Date commemorative dollars belongs there. Personally I've got a MS 1994D Capitol.

Also, unlike the clad modern commemorative half dollars (minus the 1982 Washington and 1993 Madison which are 90% silver), the modern commem dollars are all 90% silver (at least until they switched to 0.999 in 2019)

This coin has some good details probably close to an AU coin (close) but does have surface dings from circulation..
