Great collection and story behind it! I still have many Whitman folders that I worked on as a youth. Now I'm going to have to pull them out and see where I was when I was about 12...  |

The Whitman folder inspired many of us to start our collections, I may have a few   and maybe even a Littleton folder also

Congrats! I maybe mistaken but I believe you were born in a foreign country also. Coming to America something as simple as US coins can bring joy to children that don't know much about the US.

Maybe I will consider it again... I had to throw out the original Whitman folder as they fell apart over the 4 decades, but you should really complete the old folders, they are a window to the past.

I manged to keep mine in decent shape. I only used them from about 1980 to 1985. They were in a box for a long time until I moved and had the idea to put some coins in them.
