It's a great feeling to complete a set like the Lincoln Cents. Congratulations, nice job! That and my 7070 are the centerpieces of my collection.

wow, Helder, Great accomplishment! Congrats! I love the back story (although I already knew some of it) I like hearing (reading) about it again! You got me thinking that I need to finish my Lincoln Cent collection now. I only nee one coin - yes the king is required here in my collection. - the 1909-S VDB. Maybe its time to get it.. (Any plans or chance on you selling yours to me? )

Congratulations on completing this quest. Sounds like you only have about a dozen more planned? Your write-up was superb and hearing about others' generosity is inspiring as well. And your coins are really nice!
That 1918s woody is stellar!

Quote: Hey Helder , not that I don't love your Lincoln collection but can you hook me up with that neighbor that gave you all those coins , maybe she's still around ? Tony aren't you married? Why you trying to flirt with my coin giving neighbors? JUST KIDDING!! Sadly she passed away a few years ago, my mom kept in touch with her. My mom told her before she passed that I was still collecting coins and she was happy to hear that.

When I first joined I was really happy with my set, but this rabble rouser (Ken Kat) posts his 7070 and his LWC and then I'm like DANG, I need a better set JUST KIDDING, but being honest, your sets inspired me to upgrade my LWC and LMC and your 7070 (along with the other trouble makers like WineSteven, jBuck, GrapeCollects and others) inspired me to start a 7070 also.

Quote: wow, Helder, Great accomplishment! Congrats! I love the back story (although I already knew some of it) I like hearing (reading) about it again! Thanks John!! The story has been told a few times, but I can now officially complete it Quote:You got me thinking that I need to finish my Lincoln Cent collection now. The King is always hard to spend that money, and it is not cheap, but once its done, you can say you did. The first 1909 S-VDB was my most expensive coin and was only surpassed when I picked up a 1/2 ounce gold coin. This 1909 S-VDB blows away my 1/2 gold coin. As to selling it to you I have to pass , there are a few coins (like the 2016 Gold Mercury, the 2019 S-ERP and a few others) that I don't ever plan on selling, this one has meaning, as its truly the end of a 45 year project.

Quote: Congratulations on completing this quest. Sounds like you only have about a dozen more planned? A little more than a dozen I have 3 more coins to complete the 7070, but I still have about 22 coins to complete a full liberty IHC set. After those are done, I want a few gold AGE's and a few ASE's. I also want to complete my type set of Notes from Portugal and if I can find coins from Portugal, I'll get those also. This collecting stuff is kind of addicting Quote: Your write-up was superb and hearing about others' generosity is inspiring as well. And your coins are really nice! Thanks!! There are many very generous people out there. Quote: That 1918s woody is stellar! I really like the 1918S, its supposed to be AU58. The 1916 is also a woody (that one is MS) and in the Whitman the 1926, 1928 and 1929 are also Woody, when I can find a Woody, I try to get them.

An Outstanding accomplishment my friend! I have been collecting for 53 years and still missing the usual fab four. I think I remember seeing your completed Indian cents too. Hats off to you!

Thank you The Indian Head cents was completed a few years ago, but the grade isn't the same as the LWC, doesn't mean its not a nice set, I actually like IHC/FE more than LWC, but to have a full MS set in IHC would cost mucho bucks.
