Burb122 New Member New Zealand 14 Posts	Posted 08/21/2025 7:36 pm Hi, I've just started collecting old USA coins and have really enjoyed locally hunting for them here in New Zealand. My personal likes are as follows: Barber dimes Barber quarters Barber half dollars Buffalo nickles Mercury dimes. These coins really stand out to me as a preference but I also like many other types of old US coins if they are available. ebay has been really great but sifting the fake sellers and coins on there can be challenging, on the plus side this really makes you study the coins and what to look for! My Dad and Sister still live there, and I used to visit every year, but I haven't been back for the last 10 years. I lived in Auckland for the majority and Whangarei/ Pataua.
