Best-1900-Cent-Strike-Through?
Best-1900-Cent-Strike-Through?
I am looking for your opinions on this new find. I don't know what I want to do with it, or how much it could be worth. I figure it may be around a 48ish on grade, maybe higher because of age. What do you think and what would you do?

The coin was severely damaged post minting and is a very common date (66 million minted). It's worth at least a penny. Age does not affect grade. Without the damage might be G4.

Welcome to the CCF!

Thanks for the welcome, I have a few other cool finds I'll post later. So you're saying this looks like post mint damage?

Not only looks like PMD, it is.
You can see the bulge on the reverse from where the
obverse has been struck.

To CCF! It's all just damage ( PMD). Not an error. A real Struck Through error wouldn't show corresponding damage on the other side of the coin. Also, metal wouldn't be piled up or displaced on a true Struck Through error.
Errers and Varietys.
