This is just an initial "heads up" as full details are still pending...
On September 26, 2025, Abraham J. Hamadeh (R-AZ) introduced a bill in the House of Representatives ("House") that called for 400,000 Silver Dollars "in commemoration of Charlie Kirk."
The bill was referred to the House Committee on Financial Services.
I'll post more details when I learn them.

Oh, no. No, no, no, no. NO! Whether you admired the man or not is immaterial, but this continued politicization of his death should be condemned if you do.

I will never wish any one dead including Charley Kirk. He had a wife and children. And the fact that he was killed for voicing his opinion no matter if you agreed or disagree should never happen. That said can think of thousands more deserving of a coin .NO NO NO. If is minted I won't even consider if it's free.

Quote: What happened to the Idea of Commemorating Great People, Great feats of Strength, Great and What ever They accomplished in this life. Nothing wrong with that, but a hundred different people would be able to name a hundred more Americans who are more deserving than Charlie at this time. Sorry, no disrespect to him, but propping him up now is disrespectful to many, many more deserving men and women who have not had their chance to be commemorated this way. Now a medal, that is a whole other conversation and would probably get way more support, even from those who disagreed with him in principle, but agreed with him on the freedom to have those disagreements.

IMO, this coin bill was likely an "in the heat of the moment" or "emotional impulse" proposal - it likely has only a small chance of passage. (But you never know!)
It has been interesting to read the numerous reactions to the coin proposal, however.
As I said above, I'll post more details when I learn them.
