Hey, just wanted to say hello, ive always been fascinated with the Lincoln Penny. Not sure why. Maybe its was the color, just different than other coins. Ive put a few in a draw here and there, over the years.never did any research or studies about them.. then one day about 2 years ago, I was at a market place, looking for a specific tool. As I was paying I just happen to see a black 3 gallon bucket overflowing with pennies. My ears rang for a second, and after they stopped all I could think about was buying those pennies. Well I was able to make a deal, and since that day all my free time goes to reading, looking, researching US coins. Online ,thru loops, led microscopes, it some what consumes me, after years searching and researching, I'm only about 30% positive I can spot a DDO / DDR , ive never posted or asked anyone questions on any forums, so this is kinda nervey for me. Anyways high and hello everyone, if anyone has some insight or just plain help .please feel free, I listen, rarely talk, love to gain knowledge.

Technically, they are Lincoln Cents, the Penny was a coin minted in the Commonwealth countries.

But, everybody including the US Mint have given up tilting at THAT Windmill.
