Got a 1953 red seal $2.00 bill from a customer today, as part of payment for a pack of cigarettes. He also gave me a Sacky in the same transaction.

i did the same thing yrs ago because I used to smoke. I spent a bunch of Ben halves for cigs. I'm still upset with myself that I did that. I'm glad I quit smoking 3yrs now.

At work, found a 46D Lincoln, and a 2000 Ecuador 5 centavos. In Nickel rolls, bound a beautiful 1958 and a terribly ugly 43S.

Last week got a 1950 Canada Nickel in change (one of the 12 sided ones)
In Central Kentucky!
Also, in the rejection chute of the coin counting machine in the bank I dump at, three Bahamas Quarters.

I received a 1935 Buffalo nickel. Very worn, the 19 was worn away only the 35 was visible. It filled a spot in the album. |

In my change today: Two BU Guam-D Quarters  , a 1958-D Nickel (a year I don't see much of in change or rolls), and a well-circulated 1989-D JFK Half-Dollar that I didn't even see in the cashier's drawer, he just handed it to me as if he was trying to get rid of it.... |

1950 silver dime from change buying a postal MO to pay for Barber dimes. It was fate! I didn't notice it until I got home, or I would have asked if they had more. |

Today: 1964-D Dime , and a dark gray Nickel that really, really looked exactly like a Wartime Nickel for a second, until I saw the Nickel's "1964" date and small "D" on the back.  Its color was dead on! I had to spend that one so I wouldn't take it home and throw it in with my wartime Nickels by mistake.  Oh, and a woman ahead of me in the checkout line at the grocery store was paying, then she saw that she had a Guam Quarter in her hand and pulled it back from handing it to the cashier. She told the cashier that after they ran out of states for the State Quarters, they started making Territory Quarters so people would keep on saving Quarters. I couldn't have said that any better myself! I didn't say a word. Me, with a roll of Guam Quarters in my jacket pocket... Edited by DNA
