coinsearcher, I dont hate sellers that put up stupid stuff. No one should. Just because the item is over valued by the seller doesn't mean one needs to hate that seller. Just laugh and enjoy. vermont, the wife and I are cracking up here. I am tempted to bid on it to get things going.  |

Has anyone thought of putting together a collection of silly things that got slabbed. I think it would be kind of fun, but could get pricey for what it is.

I know everyone is having fun but new to site and grading. Can someone explain how PCGS would give an AU55 to this coin? Looking at it, I would have thought a lot lower grade. Thanks.

Dave, As your "marketing consultant" I expect a cut from your profits. I'm thinking since this is my first gig, I'll be happy with 10%. We can negotiate a different commission going forward. If you just want to mail payment in (Indian) cents, that would be fine. |

Just ran across this - that was too funny! Amadauss, not sure why it got such a grade, could be better in hand but even TPGs make unusual calls ~ I have raged in the past about them (but PCGS does have a money back guarantee it appears to honor).  |

CoinsKelly, thank you for response. I have a bunch of coins and I have always thought looking at the grading given by various grading companies that my stuff was good but..... Looking at that coin and its grade given, I have been to hard on my collection. I'm thinking the value of it went way up. :)

Why would someone spend the money and time to slab this? I'd just spend it because after you pay all the fees for selling it, you won't make much.
