Thank you all for your comments! It is a huge , and it required a lot of sacrifice as I sold gold to get the 1856. It was totally worth it though!

Congratulations on your set! That's something to be proud of.

I have the 1857, 1858 small and 1858 large letters, but won't be getting an 1856 anytime soon (or later for that matter).

Would have been funny if you said you found it roll searching. Or found it on one of ebays UNSERARCHED piles of coins.
Wonder what that set will be worth in the future?

Congrats, the 1856 FEC is not an easy coin to get a hold of even in G grade.

thank you so much for all the kind words everyone! PCGS graded the 1856 PR-30. I think it's more like a 20-25 detail wise, but it has exceptionally nice surfaces so they may have given it a slight bump for that.
