Thank you for the reply.
I will take some pics and try to get them up in the next couple of days.
Thanks again.

There is a similar set offered in the current Torex auction with a $1700 estimate. Things rarely reach estimates, but the value is way way over what you paid. There is also a matte set on ebay graded SP66 at $1650.

You don't have 50 posts so I can't offer to buy it off you. But I would like to buy it!

You can contact me at edited to remove email address for any offers.
Truthfully the offer would have to be pretty good because I'm not really in need of the money currently(That could change in the future though) and I like the set a lot as a long term investment.
It was a heck of a score for $100. The minute I saw the silver dollar and the mirrored fields I knew this wasn't any ordinary mint set of that era.

Those coins are remarkably preserved, and wicked eye-appeal. Be sure to keep them in a low humidity environment. For $100, you have something special, and beautiful - if I had found that set for $100, I would enjoy them. If the coins are mark free and superb, may want to consider getting them ceritfied by PCGS, to protect them foremost, and to help with resale, when the time comes. If you do certify them, be sure to keep the original box.

I was looking at the pictures of the coins (the ebay images) and seen lines all across the obverse of most of the coins. Would these lines be from polishing the dies?

Quote: I meant he really wants to sell his set Which is the only reason that he joined our forum and he refuses to agree to the concept of rules and order. Thus feel free to find it on ebay as he will no longer be joining us
