Very nice! I used to date a bank teller during my roll-hunting prime in the 1990's.

I may have to find a lonely teller for a hook up. Given the cause, I know VACookey wont mind. LOL

Quote: Wife works at a bank she called today and said someone deposited a roll of half dollars all 40%.
I told her to buy any she finds so we bought that roll from the bank at face. And I used to like you.

I don't hate, I congratulate! I married a teller. Here are some of her blocks: -countless rolls of solid 40% halves -90% halves -countless silver dimes -war nicks -solid roll of steel wheaties -They had silver dollars come in, but another teller got to 'm first.

Apparently up to $200 of 1965-1969 half dollars were deposited and we got just one of the rolls at face.
[[ the depositor was apparently warned but didn't care -- some rich fat cat Asian dude with D.C. ties ]]
I'm going to have her offer the other tellers $3 per coin; hopefully we'll get a nice deal on some silver.
What online buyers pay the most for these? Noticed Gold and Silver Exchange is paying $3.68...

That's awesome!!
I work retail, and I pull the occasional gem from the till (I replace it with one from my pocket). Once, a kid about 18 or 19 cane in and bought a pack of smokes with 6 2001 Silver eagles. needless to say, me and my coworker picked those with a quickness.
