this also means something else..
ebay is making it clear that if you sell a set to someone and you do not get it from the mint for some reason.. you are on the hook for the set. Thats great!
You dudes are ready to tell people who pre buy oh sorry I didnt get mine for 300 to sell to you for 800 so deal is off sorry.

i hope they get burned good !

And I only have animosity for the resellers that get more than 5 sets of course. You guys that got your legit 5 and sold a couple or so .. way to go good deal but I have a problem with the many that horded as many as possible to sell at a grang or more a piece..

Whoa. I don't think anyone on this forum got hundreds of sets. Most of us got 5 or less, and only with great effort.

just checked again to be sure
we all have order numbers but all orders are on hold
no tracking number or confirmation numbers you can check your orders.

the people on ebay who say they have confirmation numbers are lying or are getting preferred treatment for a common order of 5 units.

By confirmation number they mean order number. Nobody's has shipped, so no one has a tracking number.

The same thing happened to me, they booted my listing off for the same reasons that were posted earlier! I'm only trying to sell 1 set, theirs a guy selling sets of 5 sets, with 3 already sold. Thats 15 sets! How the heck is this fair. And of course an hr after my set gets booted off, one sells for the exact same price as I had mine. a little while later one sold for $100 more. They screwed me big time! And I followed the exact same sales description as other people who are being allowed to sell them. This is one hundred percent BS!

I think that when the mint ships out the sets and people start listing them on ebay again, the prices will skyrocket to just as high as they are right now, if not higher.

amassey, did you read this posting (a theory by Bryan on reason why ebay pulled some listing but not all): https://goccf.com/t/101389&whichpage=4#851601

Which category are you in?

Interestingly, if you look at the completed sales for these on ebay, prices are all over the map. There are certainly some outliers where people paid $700 or more for a single set (occasionally a much a $1000-1200), but quite a number of sets have sold in the $400-500 range as well. Of course, those tended to be lots of 5 sets (i.e., 5 sets for $2000-2500), so maybe you just have to pay an extra high premium if you only want to buy one set...

Ya know, I spent 40 minutes redialing two phones and refreshing 4 web pages over and over and over again before I was able to buy my sets. I put in a ton of effort so don't give me grief because I ordered more than what you think I deserve.

I feel bad just getting away with 5 individual sets, but then again I feel bad about everything. I was going to make my gfriend get an account and go for 10. Glad I didn't, I would have done all the work, and she would have taken any profits anyways. I would not auction anything like this until I have it, if it gets ripped in the mail, I doubt they'll send me another. Demand should be highest AFTER the initial rush and depletion.

Just watched one out of currently 432 auctions end, $580, others near end at $600, oh, and the seller only has 26 sales only, debunking smokerideron. All I can say is wow!, people have to have those eagles.

I still think they may be pulling peoples auctions that do not have a bank account tied to their paypal account so if they do not get them they will have a way to recoup their money. I asked in another post if the people that their auctions got yanked if they had their bank account tied to their paypal account and never heard anything. If they do not then eBay/Paypal has no way to force them to refund the money and they are on the hook for it because of their buyers protection. If this is the reason then I see absolutely no problem in them yanking some and leaving others, if it were my company I would do the exact same thing

Actually, you proved my point. There are currently over 400 auctions. You cant tell me ebay couldnt shut down those listings if they were doing this in a fair and equitable manner.

Oh, I dont mind that my post was pulled. But why is it that the ranting and calling people here pigs wasnt pulled as well?

IMO (not that anyone is asking for it) this is the American way. Seeing an opportunity to profit and taking it. I would feel bad, only if:

1. I was making a profit by buying/flipping a resource that was a necessity (food, clothing, shelter) and my profit was making it so that people who needed couldn't afford it.
2. If these had not been made available to the public to buy first and I was simply making a profit because people were forced to buy from me and me only. I'm sorry if you didn't get your order in before they sold out, but I had been planning for months to make time that morning to "getting in line" to give it my best shot to order what sets I could. I only had one browser window open and occasionally refreshed and I was able to place 2 separate orders for 5 total sets before 1 pm EST. They didn't sell out, from what I heard, until close to 5 pm. So I'm sorry if you weren't more diligent in trying to order your set(s). If you need it bad enough, that's what the after market it for. There was only one person in the main thread that day, far as I could tell, who was actually trying to order starting at Noon EST and still hadn't gotten through around 4:30.

I know everyone here is addicted to coins (sarcasm) and must have them to live (more sarcasm), but at the end of the day, they are just coins. Move on with your life and buy some other shiny, pretty coins.

Just saying.
