Wow - thats certainly got character. I like coins liek this because it shows its age and it isn't prohibitively expensive to acquire.

I went looking for a value and found this 1909s on completed listings for £70 - now, call me crazy, but that looks a lot like a VBD to me.

It obviously wouldn't restore this to perfect condition but would verdi care help this at all, even just to see if there is a VDB hidden on it?

Well, actually...yes! Yesterday I found the super-rare 1993-D Washington "stepped on by kids for the last 10 years" quarter and the pretty uncommon 2005-D Lincoln "keeping that grunge look" variety at the local park. Both are soon to be listed on ebay for starting bids of $50.00. No reserve!
