Looks like it has the shallow N reverse. While not an absolute, it helps the case that it may be an 1877.

Business strikes of 1877 have a shallow N reverse while proofs have a bold N reverse. The other dates of the 70's that are known to have both the shallow N and bold N reverse are 1870, 1871, and 1872.

I think you may have scored! Your second picture looks like the last two numbers are 7's. As cwb8539 mentioned, it looks to have shallow N's.
I would send it to ANACS. Your coin is definitely corroded but, if an 1877, you are still looking at a couple hundred bucks at least.

I'd do acetone. I think it's an 1877 FWIW.

The digits on the 1871 are much closer together. Looks like an 1877 to me.

I would like to see additional photos, but it looks like an 1877 to be. If it is, that is an incredible find!

Thanks everyone! My camera sucks, I took about 50 pictures and these where the best. I found it at a coin shop that has a bin of Indian Head cents for $1 each. I spent about an hour going through about 1000 or so. I also found a 1857 and 1858 flying eagle, a 1859, 1860, 1861, 1862, 1863 1864, 1865, 1868, 1869, 1873, 1874, 1875, 1878 and a 1879 all at the same time. I didn't have much interest in Indian Head cents until now. I bought an album and will try to finish up the set.

That is how my Indian Head cent collection got started, by searching the dollar bargain bin.
