And now, at the phrase two of my roll hunting project, my goal is actually to also see how many 2012 cents I can get. So far I've only had 1 out of 500. I also want to see the amout of pre-53 pennies. So far I've only come across one in 500. What is the trend for a 1959D US cent at AU 55 Brown Red or up? Photos later.

@petersun. Are you putting sets together from 1920 to date and pulling coppers?

Quote/Question:@petersun. Are you putting sets together from 1920 to date and pulling coppers?
As you may know, I am young and don't always do roll hunting for commercial reasons. Yes, I pull coins to make sets (uncirculated only, I only have a set of the 70s and 80s, all uncirculated). I seems improabable to get coins from 1920 to 1952 in just one hundred or two of rolls. Generally, I do roll hunting for research reasons on the amount of silver/copper coins over face value in circulation ny calculating the odds as I did in my previous posts. I also relate coin roll hunting to psychology and making suggestions for myself for my future coin collecting. I also do coin roll hunting to get rid of stress or when the time simply can't be occupied. Just as I mentionned, during every phrase of hunting, I have a special goal of calculating odds. Yes, I do pull out copper of pre-1996 and I sort them into rolls. Where can you sell these? This is my question. Does anyone know any stores near Vancouver BC that buys scrap copper coins at a descent price?
Here are my results for my next 500 pennies.
- 1953-1977 40 (Total of 76 with yesterday's)
- 1978-1979 15 (Total of 20)
- 1980-1981 09 (Total of 23)
- 1982-1996 73 (Total of 167)
- US P 1982 10 (Total of 16)
Special ones: 1951 Canadian Cent 1974 Australian Cent Thank you

In Surrey? Try to figure out the age of the wrappers. 2011 and 2012 cents are common in the West already. What do you mean by one and a half? I have found 15 2012 already and over a roll of 2011s. 2012 magnetic -- 12 NM -- 3

(Shonit123), Quote: Here is something super weird about this bundle of rolls: The FIRST, SECOND, FOURTH, FIFTH, SIXTH, SEVENTH AND NINTH rolls that I searched through all had pennies of 1992 and older. Most of them are from 1991 MS 63 and up. I found out that the mintage for that year is over a billion or something like that. I also found around thirty pennies from the 1970s that are in MS conditions. Seems to me that those rolls were packed in 1992, because even the US cents in them contained nothing later than 1992.
On most of those coins there's coal that glued up the coins. Disgusting.
This is a quote from myself. This demonstrated the fact that it is possible to discover aged rolls. You could also get a roll full of new coins and pull two George pennies out of there.
