finally found my way back here after years in the wilderness!
For years I thought RAM referred to the long and lovingly paired couple Randy and Mandy.

We had one of those boondoggles of an IT upgrade at the FBI quite a few years ago...they had to throw it all away and start over. The definition of an elephant is a "mouse built to government specifications"...

Its not so much the site back end (hopefully), its the data entries and misinformation I'm concerned about. For example, This is only one single denomination from one single year. I could go on for days. (both AR's compiled) the annual report on the 2007 $1 mob of roos Berlin Fair has 1500 yet in summery its 1002. One or both of the figures are simply wrong. you cant have it both ways, it is one or the other. And I do hope its not your annual report. I need to go back 3 years to get any figures actual or made up, because this year and last year and the year before are not fully updated yet. 2009! its 2012 in a few days.. And I know the misinformation is enough to confuse McDonalds and ACB because they are both wrong on the above MOR figures too because they get it from the RAM I guess? So it perpetuates itself and no one will know what is going on one day and you wont be able to correct it and even if you did, its in print. That example is a real issue that could affect thousands of coin collectors in years to come.

however, in dealers area. coinsrus do not have a web presence anymore they are a suspended account.

guystuff do not even sell coins! either on their website or in any ebay listing. so why are they afforded not one but three (3) listings in the dealers area? They have nothing to do with anything the ram produces yet get 3 links? can I have a link too?.. I have a commercial website with nothing to do with coins as well.

They did apparently sell coins? but not for well over a year or more. and that is I offer the last time the RAM seriously had a go at making the dealers area @ RAM look professional and/or up to date.

no offence to any of the businesses listed, I'm sure if your still in business your doing a great job. But your web presence is enough to make me run away from you as fast as I can with my money in a tight fist from your bricks and mortar establishment.

I realise the are not responsible for other websites, but perhaps if you could be responsible your own.

I will be contacting the mint directly and in writing in the new year and the minister for finance to make sure these issues get address expediently. I'm sure they will, they are simple issues that would take anyone with basic html knowledge 15 min to correct.

I am not so sure that there would be outrage if the banks used "profitable" in their corporate visions.
Everyone knows that is the point of the banks already, so stating it would not make much difference.

A friend of mine formed a new local bank when the one he had managed for decades was sold out from under him. He explained the approval process.

You need to show that the area needs and can profitably support another bank, while at the same time not taking business away from the existing banks.

Now if that isn't a steaming pile of BS, I don't know what is. Who is the new bank gonna serve, the homeless and those who have been refused accounts by all the existing banks?
